- Overall the Shaft is a great combination of
stiffness and comfort
- and I love the custom geometry, I like a bike with a
long "cockpit" so I can get stretched out and feel
comfortable, and on other frames I've needed to run
very long stems that throws off the geometry.
my bike this year has a nice long top tube that gives
me a great aerodynamic position.
- The Red Code integrated headset looks great and is
really smooth and feels secure and solid.

- Right away I noticed that this wasn't a typical
mass produced frameset, the welds were perfect and the
construction was more along the lines of a fine
Italian steel bike. Also, the paint job is just great,
most frames get really scratched over the course of
the season and mine still looks great, the clear coat
keeps the nice paint job looking great.
- I've raced on steel, carbon fiber, titanium, and
aluminum. Most aluminum bikes are light and stiff, but
lack the liveliness of steel and titanium. The Shaft
gives you all the advantages of aluminum - lightness,
stiffness - with all the comfort and liveliness of
steel.
- It's a real handbuilt frame and you can feel it in
the ride.
